HIRE OF SERENITY HOUSE AS A FUNCTION VENUE

Byron Stunning Stays function venues (Serenity House and Serenity Vista) are most suited to daytime events. House can only be used as a function venue in conjunction with an accommodation booking for the whole property. Some of the following is information geared to wedding events although these are by no means the only type of function/event we are suited to:

For the function:

We can take up to 80 guests standing (not more than 80). Our venue suits sophisticated yet informal small gatherings without formal table seating.

We can put you in touch with caterers, marriage celebrants, photographers, music, hire companies etc.

Our venue is only suited to daylight functions & therefore these are the only one's we accept. This means all off site guests to arrive & leave before dusk.

We do not allow marquee's & hired dance floors..by keeping the numbers to less than 80, there is no need for extra wet weather provisions.

We do not have a chapel onsite however there are some lovely nooks that lend themselves perfectly to the actual ceremony.

Other:

Apart from the master bedroom (honeymoon suite), there is capacity for 7 other guests (conditions apply) in House. Up to seven (conditions apply) in Cottage, up to four in Cube and up to ten in Vista. Tariffs, complete information plus bed configurations onsite at byronstunningstays.com.au.

Costs: $1200

Function venue hire at any of our homes is $1200. This must be accompanied by a min night 2 stay in all four of our homes (see Tariff page for details)

General:

As well as the usual $300 refundable security deposit on any accommodation bookings, I also require a $500 refundable security deposit for functions. This bond relates to all fixtures, fittings and provisions already provided for the accommodation business.

It is mandatory for the person/s responsible for the booking to supply parking attendants to protect our gardens. An alternative is to organise minibuses to take guests to & from.

Any contracts entered into by you with other providers (hire equip, caterers etc) must be completed (finalised) by you prior to your departure. This means that I require a list of them so that I can ensure that they are clear as to who is responsible for payment, returns etc.

Serenity Cottages (Byron Stunning Stays) has a four-week cancellation policy and we don't confirm bookings without a 50% holding deposit. Security deposits are taken at check in: We take this by way of credit card authority with the intention of redeeming all or part if there are difficulties (the need for redemption has been rare).

A reminder of age restrictions: Serenity Cottage is not suitable for children aged 9 months - 7 years.
